Since
first opening in 1961, Dolce Emporio has been the sweetest stop on
Borgo San Frediano. In 2008, the famous candy shop re-launched with a
new look, making space for lots of new specialties. In 2011, our 1400
wine cellar was re-styled, and it's now available for private events and
tastings.
Wine Tasting may be scheduled for any day in the year with two days advance notice, and can be conducted both in English and in Italian. It can take place at your or at our location, a beautiful cellar in Florence's most lively quarter, San Frediano.

Here
are some examples for red and white Tuscan wines. You can also mix them
in one program or choose wines from other Italian regions, both from
small and world-famous producers, from our shop with relative prices.
Every tasting comes with a selection of traditional appetizers, including: stiaccine, savoury biscuits made with bread dough and seasoned with salt and Tuscan extra-virgin olive oil; panforte fichi e noci, an old-styled panforte made with figs and walnuts, perfect to accompany cheese; Parmigiano-Reggiano spread and more, according to the season.
